The Chaney & Norman Team is growing
This year, we’ve had the honour of having three new children welcomed into the Chaney & Norman family. We are thrilled to be able to support our team members during this special time and are proud to offer flexible working hours, part-time options, and a supportive environment that helps everyone balance work and family commitments. It’s moments like these that reinforce why we’re so passionate about creating a workplace where people feel valued both in and out of the office.
Beth’s Home Features In ‘Retreat: Inspired Homes & Ways of Living’ Book
Alongside this, we’ve been incredibly grateful to see Beth Chaney-Walker’s Luggate home featured in the beautiful Retreat: Inspired Homes and Ways of Living by Lucy Glade-Wright. Beth’s commitment to designing a high-performance, sustainable home was celebrated in the book, with her Homestar 8 rating and energy modelling proving that small-scale, budget-friendly living can be both eco-conscious and comfortable.
Chris Becomes a Fellow of the NZIA
Additionally, Chris Norman’s recognition as a Fellow of the Te Kãhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) was a proud moment for our team. This honour celebrates Chris’s lifelong dedication to architecture, his leadership in urban design, and his ongoing contributions to the profession.
New Projects To Share With You
We’re also excited to have photography underway for two recently completed residential and commercial projects—both of which we can’t wait to share with you! These projects showcase the thoughtful design and high-performance features we’re so proud of, and we’re looking forward to unveiling the results soon.
In addition, we’re in the midst of another project currently under construction, and we’re thrilled about the performance features it’s bringing to life. From energy efficiency to sustainable materials, this project is shaping up to be something truly special. Keep your eyes peeled as we share more updates and insights in the near future!
